Accreditation
The University of Hawaiʻi - West Oʻahu is committed to continuous improvement in all areas of our campus. One measure of our commitment is our engagement in the WASC accreditation process. We first received WASC accreditation in February, 1981 and have been successful in all subsequent reviews. Provided on our website are resources that will help you better understand that process and learn how you may participate in and benefit from it.
The WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) Review is a six-year cycle and is divided into three stages:
- Institutional Proposal
- Capacity and Preparatory Review (Due Spring 2012) — WASC Visit Team Schedule
- Educational Effectiveness Review (Due Fall 2013)
