General Information


Aloha and welcome to the University of Hawai‘i - West Oahu, a four-year baccalaureate degree-granting institution. For more than 30 years we have been located on the leeward side of the island of O‘ahu serving students on all islands. Thank you for taking the time to learn more about us.

A student may apply as a freshman, or as a transfer student.

Candidates for admission are encouraged to visit the campus and meet with faculty, staff, and students.

Application Fee


The application fee is $50 for Academic Year 2010-2011.

All applications must be accompanied by a non-transferable application fee. This fee is non-refundable and may not be applied towards tuition even though the applicant may be admitted to the University. Applications submitted without this fee will not be processed. The application and the fee are valid only for the semester specified on the application. The fee should be paid by check, payable to the University of Hawai‘i. (Certified checks, money orders, or cashier’s checks are preferred). Currency should not be sent. Applicants from foreign countries should send an international money order.
