8. Transfer Student Orientation
A UHWO transfer is a student who has previously attended a higher education institution (beyond high school) and received college credits. In most cases, these students are coming from another University of Hawai‘i campus or another 4-year university.
New Student Orientation is free and gives transfer students the ability to register for classes early! Information covered will help you with registering for classes, academic planning, degree requirements, student life, faculty meet and greet, and basically everything you need to know before the first day of class.
Transfer students can view their credits of previously completed classes online via STAR for Students after activating their MyUH account. Transfer credits applied towards your UHWO degree can be viewed beginning in November for new fall students and April for spring students. For details about the transfer credit process, visit How do My Credits Transfer?
*Non-degree seeking students and auditors are not eligible for early registration.
To register for Transfer Orientation, students must first submit their Statement of Intent to Register form and the non-refundable tuition deposit. To register for orientation click here.
