Whether you intend to enroll in college soon or are just planning for the future, we encourage you to visit us at our beautiful campus in Kapolei. Learn about the history and future plans for the University, speak with current students and staff, and see the campus in action. This student-led walking tour also includes a short admissions information session where you will have an opportunity to speak with an admissions counselor.
SCHEDULE A CAMPUS TOUR
Campus tours are designed for prospective students of all ages (K-12 and transfer/returning students), family members, and community organizations. Both small and large groups are welcomed to schedule a visit which can be customized to meet your needs. All tours are tentative until you are contacted by the Office of Admissions with a confirmation.
Intended for prospective freshman applicants, this session starts with a 40 minute student-led walking tour of our campus and is followed by a 15 minute admissions information session. Please allow at least 2-days notice for all individual visits.
Group visits are designed exclusively for schools or community groups. These tours offer a great introduction to University of Hawaii – West O’ahu. Reservations are required, so book ahead! Please allow at least 4-weeks notice for all group visits.
What should I bring for the campus tour?
- comfortable shoes
- umbrella (for the rainy days)
How long is the tour?
Each tour starts with a 40 minute student-led walking tour and is followed by a 15 minute information session by an admissions counselor.
Will we be able to observe a class in session?
If an unoccupied classroom is available, your guide will include a classroom visit in your tour.
What if I need special accommodations?
If you need special accommodations to participate in the tour, please let us know when you make your reservations. The standard tour includes walking up and down stairs, however, alternate routes are available.
How do I cancel my reservation?
To cancel your reservation, please send an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org. A reply email will be sent to you confirming your cancellation.
How do I reschedule my tour?
Use the reservation form to sign up for your tour and notate in the comments section that you are rescheduling your tour. Please include the original tour date, time, and any other information that has changed from the original reservation.
