Cost of Attendance

The University of Hawai‘i – West O‘ahu utilizes standard budgets which are updated annually by the University of Hawaii’s Office of the Vice President of Student Affairs. The cost of attendance budgets are a reflection of the changes in national cost of living figures and local community costs. The cost of attendance is inclusive of other educational expenses for which the student may not be directly billed.

The cost of attendance budget for the period covered by the financial aid award is comprised of the following components:

These budgets will vary in total amounts depending on the number of credit hours for which the student is enrolled and whether the student will be living at home or off-campus. For the 2014– 2015 academic year, a typical full-time (12 or more credits per semester) cost of attendance budget is as follows:
