External Financial Assistance
Federal regulations governing Title IV aid require that any additional or external resources be considered for a student’s financial aid award and that the appropriate adjustments be made to a student’s award if the student will receive or has received additional resources not reflected in the student’s Financial Aid Award offer. As such, students are required to notify the Financial Aid Office promptly of any such additional resources (e.g. external scholarships, stipends, tuition assistance, employer reimbursement, vocational rehabilitation benefits, etc.).
