COUNSELING AND DEVELOPMENT
UH West O'ahu offers free and confidential mental health services for all enrolled students. Services are provided by a qualified mental health professional and include individual and group therapy, couples counseling, and psychological assessment. Walk-in appointments are welcome and participation is completely voluntary. General inquiries about health and wellness are encouraged.
Hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 7:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Accommodations will be made for students who need to schedule appointments outside of normal business hours. NO'EAU CENTER FOR WRITING, MATH AND ACADEMIC SUCCESS
The No'eau Center for Writing, Math and Academic Success provides academic support through tutoring and workshops that help students succeed at UH West O'ahu and is located in the Library, Room 203.
The center’s programs focus on life-long learning and the belief that all students are able to develop critical thinking and quantitative reasoning skills as they transition into the workforce. The members of the Campus Security Department are committed to providing high quality, public safety services with a strong emphasis on customer service. Campus Security is located in the Maintenance/Mechanical Building, room F202. UHWO Information Technology is committed to providing reliable technology resources and support to allow students, faculty, and staff to meet their academic and administrative goals.
Students have access to PC workstations, pay-per-print laser printers and scanners in the UHWO Library Information Commons. Need additional technical assistance? Visit the IT Service Center on the first floor of the library next to the Library Reference Desk, adjacent to Information Commons. UH WEST O'AHU BOOKSTORE
The UH West O'ahu Bookstore is owned and operated by the University of Hawaii - West O'ahu and offers course materials, school supplies, apparel, spirit items and more. Located in a temporary facility on the second floor of the Campus Center Building (C), the store is open to the public and a great one-stop shop for everything UH West O'ahu!
FOOD SERVICES AND EVENTS
The UH West O'ahu Multi-purpose Room, Chancellor's Conference Room and expansive Great Lawn are beautiful venues for academic, business and social gatherings. The UHWO Food Services and Events department works with catering companies and facilitates special events and activities at these venues that serve the West O'ahu community and beyond...see more
