Spring 2007 Commencement

UH West O'ahu Spring 2007 Commencement was held May 12 at the Tuthill Courtyard of Leeward Community College. About 80 of the 120 graduating students participated in the commencement ceremony. Board of Regent Ronald K. Migita and UH President David McClain were on hand to assist UH West O'ahu Chancellor Gene Awakuni with the awarding of degrees. Deborah Ho'opai of Makakilo was selected as this year's commencement speaker. Deborah will be attending UH Manoa this fall to pursue a Masters of Education degree in Curriculum and Training.
