Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action
The University of Hawaiʻi - West Oʻahu (UHWO) affirms its commitment to promote the University’s policy of Nondiscrimination and Affirmative Action. The Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action office oversees the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the UHWO.
The office also provides services to the UHWO campus, including:
- advising departments and search committees on recruiting and retaining a diverse workforce
- preparing annual affirmative action plan reports
- investigating and resolving complaints
The EEO/AA Office offers a web-based sexual harassment course for all faculty, students and staff of the UH System. The self-paced program takes about 60 minutes to complete and provides a convenient opportunity to learn about sexual harassment and how to prevent it. To view the program please click here.
