Enrollment Status
Students are initially awarded financial aid based on full-time enrollment at UHWO. Most financial aid funds require half-time enrollment at our institution. If you will not be enrolled at full-time or will be concurrently enrolled at another UH campus (e.g. LCC, UH Manoa, etc.) during the semester, you must notify the Financial Aid Office. A change in enrollment may impact your financial aid award or disbursement, and your continued eligibility for future aid. Your enrollment at the census date will determine your final enrollment status (i.e. full-time, half-time, etc.) for that semester for financial aid purposes.

Full-time | 12 or more credit hours |
Three Quarter-time | 9 – 11 credit hours |
Half-time | 6 – 8 credit hours |
Less-than-half-time | 5 or less credit hours |
