At UH West O‘ahu we are committed to educating Hawai‘i’s future leaders in our communities, government and businesses and we do this with the support of a dynamic and diverse team of faculty and staff.

The University relocated to a new, state-of-the-art campus in the City of Kapolei in 2012 and in the next decade, UH West O‘ahu will increase student enrollment from approximately 2,000 students to well over 7,000. A significant number of new faculty and staff positions will be added to achieve this rapid growth.

The Human Resources Office also provides services to the UHWO campus, including:

  • advising departments and search committees on recruiting and retaining a diverse workforce
  • preparing annual affirmative action plan reports
  • investigating and resolving complaints

The EEO/AA Office offers a web-based sexual harassment course for all faculty, students and staff of the UH System. The self-paced program takes about 60 minutes to complete and provides a convenient opportunity to learn about sexual harassment and how to prevent it.
