Statistics Testing
Statistics pretest studyguides are available in the The No‘eau Center for Writing, Math and Academic Success. Students pursuing a Business Administration, Public Administration, and Social Sciences degree are required to complete a course in statistics. The pre-requisite for this course is either (1) completion of a course in intermediate algebra, college algebra, statistics, or higher math with a grade of "C" or better; or (2) a passing score on a UH West Oahu administered test of basic math and elementary algebra.

The statistics pretest may be taken at the UHWO Library. In all cases the test must be observed by a test administrator. You can make an appointment for the test at the Library by calling 455-0497.
Statistics Tutoring
Statistics tutors can assist you with concepts of descriptive statistics, such as measures of central tendency and variability, correlation, and linear regression. Also, concepts of inferential statistics, such as probability and hypothesis testing, and understanding procedures for formulas used in calculations.
