Locks of Love Hair Donation
Got hair to spare? Human hair grows at an average rate of five inches per year. So why not save money this Christmas and pass on the usual salon visit. Give the best gift of all…a part of yourself!
In April, UH West O‘ahu will be holding a “Locks of Love” event and we hope all of you will join us. The main event will be a hair donation center but monetary contributions are always welcomed. If you or someone you know will have at least 10 inches of extra hair by April, why not turn it into a gift for children suffering from long-term hair loss? Have your hair trimmed by an experienced hair stylist right here on campus! To find out if your hair makes the “cut,” log on to http://www.locksoflove.org/donate.html.
Also, if you know of any experienced hair stylist willing to donate their time to this memorable event, please let us know. Additional event details to come. For more information, contact Mei Li Kinney at 454-4837.
