SELECTION AND COMPLETION OF A SERVICE -LEARNING OPTION
Students can select a service-learning option by submitting program forms to the Service Learning Program office by the deadline and then complete option requirements. Faculty require students to complete a minimum of 20 hours of service at a designated site and write a 5-page reflection paper describing their experience. Individual faculty decide the credit they will award students. Students are expected to track their hours and get appropriate signatures documenting their service. Students are recognized for their service at the end of their class and later at graduation.
