The Anthropology and Sociology Club is a social and academic support association open to all UHWO students and alumni that provides activities and fellowship, and service activities to the institution and community. Socialization is encouraged so that members may develop support systems and a sense of cohesion with other students, the University and the community. Activities include seminars, workshops, guest lecturers, and field trips. Members also learn about graduate programs, careers in the field of sociology and in anthropology, and employment and internship opportunities.
