Tutoring Policies
For Writing Help:
Students may schedule one hour per week of tutoring per assignment.
If you need help with more than one assignment per week, you may only receive one hour of tutoring per day.
Why? We encourage you to plan and schedule your tutoring sessions well in advance of due dates, thus giving you adequate time for revision. "Stacking" sessions takes available tutoring time away from other students needing help.
We have one exception to this rule:
Students writing senior thesis projects or practicum papers may schedule 2 hours of tutoring per week.
Math and Statistics Help:
Math and statistics appointments may be scheduled for 1 hour, although sessions may be extended depending on tutor availability.
