Laulima: Introduction to Tools

This workshop will teach you how to install and use some of the more popular tools in Laulima such as Syllabus, Discussions, Gradebook, Lessons, Statistics, Resources, and Assignments, Tests and Surveys. During this workshop the instructor will walk through the tools and answer questions about how to use tools.

Google Apps

This workshop will teach you how to use some of the more popular Google Apps, which are accessible through your UH mail account. The workshop will focus on Google Docs, Google Slides, and Google Sheets. During this workshop the instructor will walk through the apps and answer questions about how to use the tools.

Not sure about using Blackboard Collaborate? Let us show you how! Blackboard Collaborate is a virtual classroom now available to instructors teaching online. Instructors can use Collaborate to meet virtually with students using audio, video and other interactive tools. This workshop will help instructors become familiar with the basic features of Collaborate including session controls, chat, polling, whiteboard, and loading slides.

This workshop will teach you how to access and use YouTube through with your UH account. The instructor will explain how to upload movies to your YouTube channel, how to create playlists, how to add closed captioning, and more.
